How We Review Slots

How we review slots at Bonanza Billion. This page describes the process our editorial team uses for every slot review on this site, including the Bonanza Billion review on the homepage. We publish it openly so players can judge how seriously we take accuracy, independence, and player safety.

1. Sourcing the specs

Every review starts with the developer's own paytable and game-info panel. For Bonanza Billion that means BGaming's published RTP, hit-frequency, and volatility figures. Where we report a number, we have either pulled it from the in-game info panel of a live build or from BGaming's primary documentation. We do not copy specs from other review sites.

Where slot studios ship multiple RTP variants (Bonanza Billion has four: 96.00%, 95.97%, 94.00%, 92.00%), we list each variant explicitly so players can verify what their operator has loaded.

2. Live testing the game

Before a review goes live, at least one editor plays the slot at a real-money operator for a minimum of 500 base spins, plus a minimum of 5 triggered Free Spins rounds (or the equivalent purchased through a Buy Bonus). We log:

3. Scoring

Every slot is rated on a 5-point scale across five sub-criteria, then averaged into the headline editorial score:

4. Operator selection

When we list "best casinos" for a slot, we filter operators by:

5. Updates and corrections

Every slot review is reviewed at least once every 6 months and updated whenever:

The "Last reviewed" date at the top of each review reflects the most recent editorial review, not just a content tweak.

6. Independence and disclosure

This site participates in affiliate partnerships with operators we recommend. Affiliate income does not change the editorial score, the order of operator rankings, or the inclusion criteria. Operators cannot pay to be added to a list, and we will remove operators that fall below the criteria above regardless of the commercial relationship. The full disclosure is on our Editorial Policy page.
